A refrigerated semi truck trailer loaded with packages of veal was stolen Christmas Day from a parking lot in the North York area of Toronto, according to local media reports.

The veal was left overnight in a commercial parking lot, in a 16-metre (53-foot) trailer. The trailer wasn’t attached to a cab.

The veal was in packages from Ontario-based White Veal Meat Packers.

Toronto police are asking the public to keep an eye out for the truck or the packages, and to report any veal they see being sold at a suspiciously good price or outside normal distribution channels.
